History of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. Beta Lambda Chapter
December 18, 1955, The Beta Lambda Chapter of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. was formed. Due to some inactivity the chapter was reactivated on March 14, 1998 with twelve new members: Georgette Chin, Beth Day-Hairston, Helen Johnson, Sallie Ledbetter, Latia Pemberton, Princess Pressley, Evelyn Sanders, Jaqueline Spencer, Pasty O'Neal Squire, Sharon Strachan, Glynis Walker, and Raquel Wilkins. Beta Lambda continues to work and thrive throughout the community.
